The Marblehead Museum has permanent installations/exhibits at each of it’s three properties; the J.O.J. Frost Folk Art Gallery, the Civil War G.A.R. Museum and also the collections displayed within the Jeremiah Lee Mansion. The Changing Exhibit Gallery, located at 170 Washington St., offers several changing exhibits each year. They focus on many aspects of Marblehead’s history, drawing from the Museum’s collections as well as outside lenders.
Recent exhibits have included: a view of Marblehead childhood, model pond yachts, nineteenth- and twentieth-century paintings of Marblehead from a private collection and an exhibit of Marblehead Pottery. Members are invited to special Exhibit Openings and Previews of the Museum’s collection.
