Childrens Story Hour and Creative Activity with Nila Webster and Suzanne Webb
On July 5th, well known children’s author, Nila Webster, entertained dozens of children and families with readings from her books as well as anecdotes about the creative process. The event was held under the tent in the Lee Mansion Gardens. Local photographer Suzanne Webb presented an exhibit of her photographs and led children in a creative activity based on illustrations by local artist, George Ulrich. Joe Froggers and lemonade were served and balloon creations were offered by Jacob Abisso, the Balloon Kid. A magical time was had by all.
All proceeds from admissions and the sale of Nila’s and Suzanne’s books went to support the education programs of the Marblehead Museum.
